Hi, I met you in Whole Foods today and we talked about juicing and juicers. You recommened the Omega. i went on their website and found it quite confusilng. Which one would you recommend? I would like to purchase the best one they have. I can spend up to $500.00 for a new juicer. Thanks for any advice. Rhea Steffens, Naples

I am juicing and would like to know of a few good juicing books that you recommend. We are wanting to use juicing for preventive health issues. We want to know the most healthy vegetables and a few fruits only to juice. Thanks, Rhea Steffen

Hi we just get an ice cream maker. Do you have any raw ice cream recipes I can try?

    • eyeofraw Says:

absolutely! I just bought one too!

Depending on how much you want:

use equal amounts cashews to water, like 1cup:1cup. Blend until creamy in vitamix. Add in 1/2 cup of favorite fruit or 2 or 3 tbs of of cacao and some almond butter! Follow directions on ice-cream maker. I like to add in the almond butter or some cacao nibs as it is spinning.

To make a nut free version, make a really thick fruit smoothie.. or even greens! I like strawberry vanilla with cacao nibs.

      2 cups frozen strawberries
      2 Cups vanilla almond milk
      2 tbs cacao nibs
      pinch of sea salt

blend well in vitamix then put in ice-cream machine! i will have many more recipes that are more thorough in my ebook!

We have a juicer but also thinking of getting a Vitamix. Are there health benifits to having both? I know you don’t use as many vegetables or fruits to get a full glass of juice but you are getting the fiber. We are fans of the Gerson therapy but don’t have cancer and juice a few times a week hoping for healthy benifits. So what do you think about juicing verses the Vitamix? Thanks

    • eyeofraw Says:

Both are amazing! Juicing provides your body with ultimate nutrients and allows vitamins and minerals to absorb into your blood stream within 10 seconds, allowing for maximum healing! Smoothies provide your body with already broken down fiber, which cleanses your digestive tract while allowing for easier nutrient absorption. To make the decision it really depends what you feel you would be using more. With a vitamix you can make hot soups, ice creams, and many other things, and with a juicer you will mostly be getting just juice. I own both, but i will tell you for sure i could not live without my vitamin! If you use this code- 06-005687 and receive free shipping!
