super soft, and has way more of the amount of daily fiber you need in one day! I think these are better than the real thing!
– 3 cups of flax meal (i kept 1/2 of a cup unground because i like the crunch of them. Also, using golden flax will give more of a “pancake” color)
– 2 tbspn coconut oil (liquid)
– 1/2 cup maple syrup (or you can use dates, 5 or 6)
– fruit to top them off!
Mix all ingredients in a bowl except the fruit. Form into balls and flatten into pancakes.
If using dates, mix all ingredients in FP. Throw some chopped fruit right in if you’d like to make a fruit flavored pancake!!
These are incredibly filling and so tasty. I prefer these over the processed flower pancakes any day!
If you would like you can put them in the dehydrator for a bit to make them more forming and warm.
